Seiko Prospex challenges every limit, with a collection of timepieces for sports lovers and adventure seekers whether in the water, in the sky or on land. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative technology has changed global standards. We are constantly striving to bring ever greater reliability and safety to both professional and recreational divers. The 1965 diver's watch incorporated an automatic mechanical calibre and delivered 150m water resistance. The watch was designed for maximum reliability and legibility in the harshest conditions. It proved its reliability when used in the Antarctic during the 60s and laid the path to the development of future landmark watches.
This Save the Ocean Limited Edition is inspired by the beautiful ocean colors of Okinawa, one of the world’s premier diving destinations.
A dial that captures the beauty of Okinawa’s ocean waters
The ocean surrounding Okinawa is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, with crystal-clear water revealing white sandy seabed's. This watch features a sunray-patterned blue dial that reflects light beautifully, evoking the serene image of sunlight shimmering on the ocean’s surface.
A refined color combination
A refreshing blue dial paired with a subdued gray bezel creates a sophisticated and sporty aesthetic.
A new clasp designed for comfort and operability
The new clasp can be adjusted in six steps, each measuring about 2.5mm, for a total range of approximately 15mm. It allows for a comfortable fit at all times, accommodating changes in wrist size during diving and daily life.
